The Vampire Diaries cast members, Paul Wesley (Stefan), Ian Somerhalder (Damon) and Candice Accola (Caroline) took a break from filming to talk about the upcoming seventh season of TVD. They sat down with TV Guide to dish on what viewers can expect from their characters in the hit supernatural drama’s new season. Take a look at what they had to say below!

In the first clip below, Paul talks about Stefan’s relationship with Caroline in the new. He says, ” It’s nice to be with a woman who’s not torn about being with you! She’s all about [him].” Candice then shares that like most couples, Caroline and Stefan will see their fair share of problems, Check out what else they had to say!
The next clip, below, Ian dishes on Damon and reveals his requirements for his character’s new love interest when or if that ever happens. He shares . “I don’t think he’s quite there, [but] any woman coming into the fray has to be so unbelievably bad ass that the audience loves this person first because it’ll be trouble. The fandom is extremely opinionated. They’re very set on this Elena-Damon dynamic, so I wish all the best of luck in the world to whoever that is.”
