Freddie Stroma to Play Sam’s Brother
Harry Potter alum and Lifetime’s UnReal eligible bachelor, Freddie Stroma, has landed a role on the highly anticipated sixth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. According to Buzzfeed News, Stroma has been cast as Dickon Tarly, the brother of Samwell Tarly (John Bradley).
In George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels, readers have only heard about Sam’s brother, Dickon. Their father, Lord Randyll Tarly, deemed Sam unworthy to be his direct heir, choosing the younger Dickon instead and sending Sam to the Wall.
Game of Thrones is expected to return for Season 6 in spring 2016
