The Last Ship Season 3 Kick-offs with a 2-Hour Premiere
TNT released the official episode synopsis, promotional photos and preview for the two-hour season three premiere of The Last Ship airing Sunday, June 19th. The season kicks-off with episode 3×01 titled, “The Scott Effect,” written by Steven Kane and directed by Michael Katleman. Then followed by episode 3×012 titled, “Rising Sun,” written by Hank Steinberg and directed by Michael Katleman. Official Synopsis:
“The Scott Effect” – CNO Tom Chandler is sent to Asia to investigate a possible mutation of the Red Flu. Captain Slattery and his crew deliver cure to Southeast Asia but there may be an unexpected threat in the region.
“Rising Sun” – Chandler must find a way to return to his old crew and investigate a dangerous new foe
