Salem’s Certainly Put A Spell On Its WGN America Viewers. Salem’s Season 2 Returns With A Queenly Declaration. “Time For War.”
In anticipation of the season two return of “Salem,” and it couldn’t come any quicker. WGN America’s breakout hit original series, the network has released what is described as “a haunting” teaser trailer for the 13-episode season premiering in April 2015. The video features Salem’s most powerful enchantress Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery, “Human Target,” “Made in Jersey”), who’s sitting upon a throne of vines and branches, reminding us very much like that of Game Of Thrones, the Iron Throne and her highness certainly looks like the queen of witchy-badassery means it when she utters three simple words, “time for war.”
Declaring a Witch War isn’t a surprising move from Mary, especially with the revelations that audience were left with in season one.The Grand Rite is triggered leaving viewers with a pending foul stench of death in the air for its return. What’s even more intriguing is the first look at what we believe to be Mary’s son, reappearing no longer as an infant and he’s certainly got the deviant look of his mother’s eyes. Meanwhile, the other witches lurking in the back ground vying for their own power and revenge, we’re sure the witches war brewing will be explosively, tantalizingly and epically-enthralling viewers treat for season two.
