A Sneak Peek at ‘Reign’ Season Two
The Royals of French Court from the CW period drama, Reign, premieres its second season in less than a month. And as the season two premiere date nears, details of the upcoming new season are starting to leak out. TV Line got their hands on the scoop of the series’ long awaited return. Featured above is the first promotional episode still the season two premiere. We see what appears to be an angry Mary Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane) addressing two men. One can guess by the royal symbol on the back of the man’s cloak and short blonde hair that Francis (Toby Regbo) has been let back in the castle walls. This isn’t going to sit well with Mary, who had locked him out in an effort to protect the French Court from the impending plague.

King Henry may be gone, but “his presence looms large” at French Court in Season 2.
Mary and Francis are forced to figure out what his child with Lola means for their lives, Catherine finds herself with a new potential suitor named Narcisse.
Meanwhile, Bash and Kenna’s marriage will be “tested” as he assumes “a different position at Court under Francis” and she remains “ambitious … and restless.”

The show’s newly crowned Queen, Adelaide Kane, spoke to ET and spilled a few secrets on the new season. She confessed they are “amping up the testosterone for season two.”
While Toby Regbo shares, “I’m going to go out and I’m going to find that child and Lola, that’s where I’ll be in the beginning of season two. And honestly, I’m not sure if Francis will survive the plague.”
