The critically acclaimed BBC series, Luther is getting a remake and coming to the U.S, Deadline reports the psychological crime drama adaption will be written and executive produced by the original series creator, Neil Cross. Series star, Idris Elba, who portrayed title character, Detective Chief Inspector John Luther, is signed to be executive producer. We know Elba has been so busy in the movie front, but now fans can be excited to have him back in television.
