Living the Lake Life Easter Weekend

Many of The Vampire Diaries cast and crew members spent the Easter holiday weekend together at Lake Lanier in Georgia. (April 3-5). The weekend appeared to be filled with a lot of fun in the sun judging by all the adorable photos shared on Instagram and Twitter. Photos include cast members, Nina Dobrev (Elena), Kat Graham (Bonnie), Matt Davis (Alaric), Zach Roerig (Matt), Candice Accola (Caroline), Michael Trevino (Tyler), Michael Malarkey (Enzo) and Penelope Mitchell (Liv) along with TVD co-creator and executive producer, Julie Plec and numerous crew members. They all enjoyed time out on the lake on the boat, croquet and even a little unicorn pinata’ fun by night. Some comments from a few photos prompted TVD fans to question if the series’ leading lady would be leaving aft the end of season 6. It’s no secret Michael Trevino has been cast in the ABC Pilot, King Makers, but a caption such as “lake life in honor of Michael Trevino and Nina Dobrev” and another with the hashtag #NinaWeWillMissYou fueled further speculation on Elena Gilbert’s season 7 status. **We now know Nina has announced she will be leaving TVD after season 6. And wish her luck and lots of success in all she does!
