Amy Brenneman is Returning to French Court
It looks like Mary Stuart, Queen of Scotland and France’s (Adeleine Kane) is getting another visit from Mommy dearest in the anticipated third season of Reign,.Entertainment Weekly reports Amy Brenneman will reprise the role of Marie de Guise for at least an episode in the series upcoming season three.
As a refresher, the last time we saw Mary’s mother, she revealed her secret: She’s dying. But it seems she’s not dead yet, which is a good thing considering that Mary could really use her mother right now, what with her husband dying and her mother-in-law teaming up with Queen Elizabeth.
Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the where and when of Marie de Guise’s return — might Mary visit her in Scotland? — nor do we know what physical state she’ll be in.
