The Worlds of True Blood and MTV’s anticipated show Scream unite!
True Blood alumna Amelia Rose Blaire is returning to the horror genre as Piper Shay in the upcoming MTV series, Scream. A pivotal role, Blaire’s character is described as a smart, quirky host of a wildly popular podcast who comes to town to investigate the recent deaths, according to TVLine.
Blaire co-starred on HBO’s late vampire drama as Eric’s progeny Willa Burrell. She will recur on the highly anticipated new series Scream as Piper Shay.
Additional Scream cast members include Willa Fitzgerald (Royal Pains) as shy-yet-popular Emma Duvall, Bex Taylor-Klaus (Arrow) as preacher’s daughter Aubrey Jensen and Carlson Young (Key and Peele) as bubbly ringleader Brooke Maddox.
Scream makes its MTV debut on Tuesday, June 30
