Franz Drameh Joins the Comic World
British actor, Franz Drameh has been cast as Jay Jackson in an upcoming untitled DC Project, according to to Warner Brothers.
“Jay Jackson, a former high school athlete, whose pro-career was derailed by injury. Now making ends meets as an auto mechanic, Jay will come to have a surprising affiliation to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew.”
Franz Drameh had his start on British Television as Granville Cunningham starring on Parents of the Band. He had his film debut in Hereafter, alongside Matt Damon with Clint Eastwood as director. He also was a part of BBC Three’s Comedy Some Girls. He gained notoriety in the British sleeper hit Attack on the Block, directed and written by Joe Cornish, but his major breakout role was in Warner Brothers’ Edge of Tomorrow alongside Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. He next is going to be seen in A Hundred Streets alongside Idris Elba and Gemma Arterton.
