What we learned from SALEM during SDCC

SALEM season 3 promises war.

It was a delight to sit with the cast of “Salem” as they did press rounds during the San Diego Comic Con. We chatted with Shane West, Janet Montgomery, Seth Gabel, Elise Eberle, Iddo Goldberg and creators Brannon Braga and Adam Simon. We took advantage of their high spirits and asked them your burning questions!

Through this we discovered a war is about to break in Salem when Mary resurrects and inevitably encounters the devil. According to Janet Montgomery who plays the character of Mary, the hopes of a family are long gone.

“Season 3 is all about surviving on your own.”

Since hell is introduced as an entity on it’s own and apparently “Almost a character in the call sheet” according to Shane who plays John, they wouldn’t be surprised to see any character presumably “dead” come back. Watch them explain why in our interview below.

Isaac will be heard

Iddo Goldberg who gives life to Isaac Walton opens up about the development of his character this season. In collaboration with Adam Simon and Elise Eberle they gave us the insight on the depth of their characters and how they’ve impacted the direction of the show.
