Constantin Film is joining forces with Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming from Court Five Productions. Sound mundane? Think again!
Trust us (when have we ever lied to you good folk?) when we say this is promising news! Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming of Court Five Productions have signed a deal with Constantin Film. Basically, Constantin Film gets a first peek into any upcoming projects Ordesky and Fleming conjure up. As founding partners of Court Five, Ordesky and Fleming are quite the desirable duos. And we’ll explain why in just a second. We freaked out and we’re usually, twelve-percent of the time, very relaxed.
Constantin Film is a production and film distribution company based in Germany. They’re responsible for the titles or co-productions of smash-hits such as ‘The Sixth Sense’, ‘The Vow’, and the hugely popular ‘Resident Evil’ franchise. We’re talking big guns. We’re talking big-leagues of numerous films you’ll know and love. All produced by Constantin Film. On television, you may have heard of the beloved show called ‘Shadowhunters‘ on Freeform. Again, all produced by Constantin Film. So we know how exciting the company is. But where may you heard of Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming from?
Who are Mark Ordesky and Jane Fleming?
Famously, Ordesky was the executive producer of the hugely successful and legendary ‘Lord of the Rings’ films. Ordesky made history with this trilogy, when the final installment of the trilogy, ‘Lord of the Rings: Return of the King’ won every Oscar it had been nominated for. Surely, there isn’t a soul out there who hasn’t watched them, Moreover, Ordesky’s credited with a plethora of work as executive producer, such as ‘The Golden Compass’ and ‘Inkheart’.
Together with Fleming, the pair has produced films such as ‘Tiger Eyes’ and ‘The Frozen Ground’. Finally, their co-executive production work on television spawned a critically-acclaimed, fantasy-based competition ABC series called ‘The Quest‘. That series is now available on Netflix, in fact!
Furthermore, an exciting aspect of their partnership is the jointly-owned ‘Court Five Productions‘ with the simple motto of “inspire/motivate/create”. The duo is highly-esteemed within the television and film industry, with years of experience and a catalogue of productions stockpiled in their portfolio. In conclusion, Court Five’s ‘about us’ is quite simple:
We are a multifaceted media company focused on developing and converting diverse intellectual property and brands into filmed entertainment for distribution in all media worldwide.
With such success between the pair of them, what does the future hold in store for us when these two television and film giants collide with Constantin Film?
Constantin Film + Mark Ordesky + Jane Fleming = Something Epic!
We could list all the films and television series this dreamy trio have conjured up in the past. But we’d be here all day. Simply, their track-record individually is jaw-dropping. Additionally, their track-record combined is something to pop your eyes out at.
With Ordesky and Fleming’s wide range of from ‘The Rush Hour’ franchise to the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, they’ve put their international stamp on the culture of the film industry. With Constantin Film’s contribution, this can only build exponentially.

Imagine a hybrid of ‘Shadowhunters’ with effects as epic and grandiose as ‘Lord of the Rings’. How about an innovative horror-series that plays to their history of ‘The Quest’ and ‘Lovely Molly’ meshed together? Alternatively, something with the longevity of the ‘Resident Evil’ franchise combined with Court Five’s ‘Austin Powers’ hilarity?
With the firepower of Constantin Film fuelling Ordesky and Fleming’s waywardly unstoppable imaginations, we can only be thrilled at the concept of what this deal hooks us in for. Give it a few years, and we’ll all be glued to an Ordesky-and-Fleming production powered by Constantin Film. And we won’t regret anything.
Constantin Film’s Robert Kulzer, a writer-producer, said:
Mark’s impeccable taste from ‘Shine’ to ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and Jane’s creative and business acumen make them a perfect new ally for Constantin Film to create branded entertainment in film and television.
