Wilson Bethel Heads to “The Bakken”
The Astronaut Wives Club actor and Heart of Dixie alum, Wilson Bethel, lands a recurring role on the upcoming new ABC drama, Blood & Oil. Deadline reports Wilson will portray a characteristic food truck owner, but poor businessman named Finn in the new series.
Written by Josh Pate and Rodes Fishburne and executive produced by Tony Krantz, Blood & Oil centers on a young working-class couple (Chace Crawford, Rebecca Rittenhouse) who move to “The Bakken” in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history. They’re pitted against a ruthless tycoon (Don Johnson) who forces them to bet big and put everything on the line, including their marriage. Bethel will play Finn, a charismatic but poor businessman, who owns a food truck, and partners up with Kess (Keston John) and Ada’ (Yaani King).
BLOOD & OIL PREMIERES SUNDAY, SEPT. 27 at 9|8c. on ABC
