TURN: Washington’s Spies Begins in a Two Hour Premiere Event
AMC announced the premiere date and released the first official trailer for the original series, TURN: Washington’s Spies. Take a look at the first teaser for the series’ highly anticipated second season below.
TURN Washington’s Spies Premieres MONDAY, APRIL 13 at 9|8c on AMC
Turn: Washington’s Spies stars Jamie Bell as Abraham Woodhull, a farmer living in British-occupied Long Island during the Revolutionary War who bands together with a disparate group of childhood friends to form the Culper Ring – America’s first spy ring. In Season 2, as Abe becomes more committed to the Culper Ring activities, George Washington (Ian Kahn) battles personal demons and betrayal from within his ranks that threaten not only his leadership but the fate of the revolution.
The series is executive produced by Craig Silverstein, who serves as showrunner, and Barry Josephson. It is based on the book Washington’s Spies by Alexander Rose, who served as a consultant for the first season and joins the writing staff for Season 2.
