Meet the ‘Real’ Sarah Salvatore, Tristin Mays
The Vampire Diaries has cast Tristin Mays as the ‘real’ Sarah Salvatore, who we’ll finally meet in the second half of the supernatural series sixth season. Entertainment Weekly reports Tristin has been cast as the daughter of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan‘s (Paul Wesley) nephew,
Tristin Mays (The Wedding Ringer) will first appear in The CW drama as the (real) daughter of Zach Salvatore, Damon and Stefan’s distant nephew, on Jan. 22. The show had previously introduced a faux Sarah who was actually an old friend of Sarah’s.
Mays’ character is described as “a bright and gifted student of photography” whose life is turned upside down as she unravels the mystery of her true family history.
