In an alternate dimension…
This week’s episode of Shadowhunters was so much fun. We got to see our favorite characters in an alternate universe, living mundanes lives in a world where Shadowhunters are not needed, therefore they don’t exist anymore. Seeing the characters behave differently but still with the essence that distinguishes them was entertaining and distracting, and for a second we wondered what would it be like to see this universe instead of the normal one on the show.
The writers did a great job at adding small details that are in the books and we haven’t seen in the show so far, like making Luke the owner of a book store in the parallel universe, or making Church and Chairman Meow appear as Magnus’ pets. They know what’s going to make the fans happy, and they really want to surprise everyone who’s watching, after all, the show’s writers are book fans too. They also added our favourite couples in the mix, we saw Sizzy being an item, Clace dancing and showing some PDA, and Malec meeting. So it’s safe to say that this episode was a treat for everyone.
