Miranda Rae Mayo Joins Firehouse 51
Blood & Oil actress and Pretty Little Liars alum, Miranda Rae Mayo, has been cast in a major recurring role on the fourth season of NBC’s hit firefighter drama, Chicago Fire. According to Deadline Mayo will portray Stella Kidd, a new firefighter joining Firehous 51. The role has the potential to become a season regular. Stella is described as
a fun, bawdy, tough, physical and brazen firefighter joining Firehouse 51 who is funny, sharp as a tack and fearless. With her on board, Dawson (Monica Raymund) will no longer be the only female firefighter on the truck. While this is rare, I hear the producers drew inspiration from real-life firehouses that have featured two female firefighters.
