Enzo Stops by BloodyNightCon Europe for a Chat
The Vampire Diaries handsome Michael Malarkey (Enzo) attended this year to BloodyNightCon Europe, an annual Vampire Diaries and The Originals fan convention in Brussels, Belgium (May 30-31). Hosted by KLZ Events, cast members scheduled to appear included Ian Somerhalder, Daniel Gillies, Kat Graham, Michael Malarkey, Chris Wood and Chase R. Coleman, Michael had a solo panel on Saturday. - Michael imitates Enzo’s French voice.
- He refused a role in a show of HBO for stay in TVD. He felt he had to give a continuation to Enzo and because he loves the TVD team.
- Michael says Enzo’s “Hello, gorgeous
- A fan ask if they can nickname him”Midget Malarkey”? Michael says, “Whaaaat?! I’m 5’10!”
- The organizers call for the Chris photo ops and Michael ran out and yells : CHRIS WOOD!!!
- On Enzo’s love life, says he is an outsider and not hooked up. As long as it’s well written, he could date anyone
- On the similarities between himself and Enzo: Michael “Well, I don’t kill people anymore.”
- A fan asks what’s your favorite thing about Enzo?” Michael: “his eyes … I have pretty eyes. Ugh I’m an idiot.”
- Michael: “I don’t like this chair” [throws it to the ground]
- He says writing music is a very organic process, when he feels there’s a song coming, lyrics, then music
- Michael was very frustrated that Damon and Enzo have many scenes together in season six. He hopes that they will have more scenes together because he loves working with Ian. “Ian is great to work with. He has great energy and a great heart”
- Michael adores Candice and thinks she has a beautiful soul and she’s the most positive person he knows.
