ABC released the official synopsis, promotional photos and episode preview for the two-hour season three finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The finale begins with an episode titled, “Absolution,” which is written by Chris Dingess & Drew Z. Greenberg and directed by Billy Gierhart. It’s followed by an episode titled, “Ascension,” which is written by Jed Whedon and directed by Kevin Tancharoen.
