Guess Who: Netflix Series Sabrina Finds Its Star!
The hit CW show Riverdale is getting its own sister-show titled Sabrina, and it recently found its lead. Kiernan Shipka, best known for her role in Mad Men, has been cast as Sabrina Spellman. Prior to the casting, the showrunners were looking for an actress who is legally 18 years or older, who could portray a 16-year-old.
Set in Greendale (Riverdale’s sister-city), the series will take a dark twist to the 1990s show Sabrina the Teenage Witch and will instead bring to life the comic book written by Riverdale’s showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and published by Archie Horror. Sabrina is being adapted by Aguirre-Sacasa. The show is expected to premiere during the 2018-2019 television season on Netflix.
Interviews: Stranger Things Star Talks Hellboy Reboot, Says It’s The “Hardest Job” He’s Ever Done!
Stranger Things star David Harbour recently discussed his role as Hellboy at the 2018 Golden Globes, and the star gets pretty candid about his stunts and, well, his age! Let’s just say Hellboy does a lot more stunts than the ever-brooding Chief Jim Hopper:
“The action that I’m doing in the movie, the rolling around on the ground and punching — things that a 40-year-old man should not be doing — and on top of that, the tremendous amount of prosthetics and makeup, but at the end of the day we would shoot some pretty beautiful stuff.”
You can catch Harbour as Hellboy in theaters next year on January 11, 2019!
