ICYMI: Kyra Zagorsky cast on Arrow, plus a new trailer of Venom!
Welcome to another edition of Superhero After Dark! We have plenty of news to share with you, but before you get started, let’s take a trip to last week’s issue to catch you up on the latest news!
Kyra Zagorsky was recently cast as Athena on Arrow, a former member of the League of Assassins who wants to protect Malcolm Merlyn’s legacy. Zagorsky will make her debut sometime in season six.
Sony released a teaser trailer to Columbia PIctures’ Venom, with Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock at the center. Check out the trailer below!

Guess Who: Bruno Bichir cast in Titans!
Bruno Bichir, best known for his roles in Absentia and Narcos, has been cast in DC’s live-action Titans! Bichir will be playing Dr. Niles Caulder a.k.a. The Chief. As a pioneer in medical science, he will search for those in need of a miracle, including The Doom Patrol.
Titans is slated to premiere in 2018 as a part of DC’s new streaming service.
TVAD Writers Room: Black Lightning roundtable and 4 episode challenge!
While the Arrowverse took a step back this week amid their hiatus, Black Lightning returned with a jam-packed episode! The fifth episode of the pilot season was filled with a lot of information, as our roundtable tried to figure some things out. This included Gambi’s (James Remar) shady past!

Coming Soon: John Constantine returns to Legends of Tomorrow, Absorbing Man returns to Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. and synopses for DCTV shows!
Matt Ryan will once again return as Constantine for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, THR confirmed. After returning in season three’s episode “Daddy Darhkest,” fans will see Constantine once more in episode 15, titled “Necromancing the Stone.”
Constantine is not the only returning face fans will see, as Absorbing Man (Brian Patrick Wade) will return to Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. in its midseason premiere on March 2. The villain was last seen in Agents’ third season.
Lastly, The CW has released the official synopses for the upcoming episodes of The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow!
