The seemingly endless stream of sexual misconduct scandals that have engulfed Hollywood in recent months have now taken their toll on FX’s Legion. Bryan Singer, who has been heavily involved in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men film franchise, has been removed as an executive producer due to sexual misconduct allegations. Legion is currently headed into its second season. It’s undecided if Singer will also be removed from FOX’s The Gifted.
Warner Bros. has decided to promote Walter Hamada to be the new person in charge of overseeing the production of DC films. Despite Wonder Woman being a critical and financial success, Warner Bros. other recent DC movies haven’t fared as well. Hamada will be replacing Jon Berg and Geoff Johns. Geoff Johns will reportedly be working closely with Hamada. Walter Hamada is primarily known for his work on horror films such as It, The Gallows, and The Conjuring. Warner Bros. is confident in Hamada’s abilities to oversee the DC movie universe.
“Walter is creative, resourceful, and committed to excellence, and will bring those qualities to his oversight of our superhero films.”
