Interviewer: Daniel, you have been on the naughty list for the past 75 years. That’s a lot longer than most, but since you’ve not aged a bit we think he you be in the running for the record soon for a human being.
Whitehall: We consider that propaganda that’s completely untrue. After all, Hydra is simply misunderstood and my age is irrelevant. How old is Santa? He’s been at his game far longer than I have. We both simply want the world to be a better place by rewarding compliance. People want to be led to a better world and while Santa hasn’t always seemed to use his abilities to their fullest to achieve the greatness he could, Hydra is happy to do so in his stead towards a glorious end for mankind.

Do you play nicely with others?
I’ve always had a way with most people. Some simply haven’t appreciated my charm. That’s not always been something I could control. You can’t make people like you can you? Through the years I’ve found the means to help others see my point of view when it’s most vital they do. And in the end–they are all happy to comply once we’ve reached an understanding.
Do you tell the truth, even if someone asks if you did something naughty?
Naughty and truth alike are both simply a matter of perspective. Everyone seems to think they both require a simple yes or no answer, when often it’s a matter of how you see the world. Have I always been honest about such things? I’d like to think I’ve been as honest as I can be with those that understand my true intent, but the world always judges you on what they perceive you to be and no necessarily what you are.
What are you leaving Santa for a snack this year?
We’ve worked diligently to locate Santa’s secret base and develop just the exact formula of snack that he’d enjoy. Thus far he’s evaded us, but we continue to pursue him in hopes of achieving the kind of camaraderie and compliance that would benefit us both. We couldn’t think of a better advocate for the betterment of mankind than a man like Santa and with his extraordinary abilities and his access to the youth of the world. We’ve left him what we believe to be the perfect snack a number of times, but he’s yet to take the ba — accept our humble offering. We haven’t given up hope. After all, we love his choice of color. Red is simply the perfect representation for any organization that keeps a close eye on it’s members deeds by list — and then ensures compliance is indeed richly rewarded.
