Is the Scarlet Speedster finally going to live up to his nickname?? The new poster for The Flash Season 3 says yes!
The first time we saw the traditional costume, it was in the series pilot. Eobard Thawne was also in Harrison Wells’ body. In the final clip of the episode, Eobard looks at his future newspaper, and there was The Flash speeding along in that bright crimson suit. However, when we see Barry suiting up in the present, Cisco gives him his prototype fireman suit. Before Cisco was creating the traditional uniform, the initial suit was a darker, blood-colored red.
What do you think? Are we finally going to get the costume we’ve been waiting two years to see? And even more importantly, has Barry earned the right to wear that suit? Barry Allen in the comics studies the science of speed, and comes up with things he calls “Flash Facts.” He begins to master his powers and apply them in ever more creative ways and always lives up to his title as “The Fastest Man Alive.” Have we seen that full progression on this show? Hopefully, Season 3 will give us those answers!
